Oroville-Gridley Head Start Services

In the 0-3 Child Development Home Base and Center Base Programs, families learn about:

  • Health, nutrition and social services
  • Positive parenting practices and strategies
  • Family engagement
  • Family play groups
  • School Readiness
  • Goal setting and activities to reach those goals

In the Head Start (ages 3-5) program, children will receive the following services:

  • School readiness; family engagement
  • Health, nutrition, and social services
  • 4-5 sessions a week
  • High quality, fun filled educational setting
  • Small class size and high staff to child ratio
  • Hands on learning
