Women, Infants and Children
(WIC of Lake County)
E Center’s WIC Program operates in Lake County California and is a federal assistance program of the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for healthcare and nutrition of Low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding women, infants and children under the age of five.

E Center’s Head Start Programs operate in nine Northern California Counties: Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lake, Sonoma, Sutter, Tehama, Yolo and Yuba. Head Start is a Department of Health and Human Services that provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition and parent involvement services to children and their families.

E Center’s General Childcare and Development Services is a state funded program that provides childcare and development services to families with children up to 36 months of age. Services are provided based on family’s eligibility and need criteria including age, residency and income.

E Center’s CalAIM Program operates in nine Northern California Counties: Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lake, Sonoma, Sutter, Tehama, Yolo and Yuba. CalAIM is a Department of Health Care Services that has three primary goals:
- Identify and manage member risk and need through Whole Person Care Approaches and addressing Social Determinants of Health
- Move Medi-Cal to a more consistent and seamless system by reducing complexity and increasing flexibility
- Improve quality outcomes and drive delivery system transformation through value-based initiatives, modernization of systems and payment reform.
