E Center Head Start Programs
E Center provides services for Early Head Start, Head Start, Migrant Seasonal Head Start and Migrant Early Head Start. Services provide comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition and parent involvement for children ages 0-5 and their families at no cost to the participants.

E Center Early Head Start
E Center Early Head Start provides services to children 0-3 years of age and to pregnant women.
- Full Day -Enrolled for up to five (5) days a week for eight (8) or more hours depending on family needs. Currently offered in Butte, Sutter and Yuba County
- Home Base -Receive home visits from a Family Educator once a week for 1.5 hours and attend socialization bi-weekly for 2.5 hours per socialization. The parent is the primary focus of the home visit and works directly with the child. Currently offered in Butte, Sutter and Yuba County.
E Center Head Start
E Center Head Start provides services to children 3-5 years of age.
- Part Day -Enrolled for four (4) or five (5) days a week for a morning (AM) session or afternoon (PM) session for 3.5 hours a day. Currently offered in Butte, Sutter and Yuba counties
- Extended Day -Enrolled for four (4) days a week for six (6) hours or more. Currently offered Butte and Sutter County.
- Full Day – Enrolled for up to five (5) days a week for eight (8) or more hours depending on location. This option primarily assists parents in meeting their childcare needs while working or attending classes to further their education. Currently offered in Butte, Sutter and Yuba County
E Center Migrant Seasonal Head Start
E Center Migrant Seasonal Head Start provides services to children 4 weeks -5 years of age whose families work in agriculture related work such as: produce fields, produce canning and packing plants.
- Center Based Care and Family Child Care Homes are open up to twelve (12) hours a day, five (5) days a week during harvest time. (Usually from late spring through mid/late fall depending on crops) Currently offered Butte, Yuba Sutter, Tehama, Glenn, Lake, Colusa, and Yolo counties.
E Center Migrant Early Head Start
E Center Migrant Early Head Start 4 weeks – 36 months
For whose families work in agriculture related work such as: produce fields, produce canning and packing plants and families migrate for work.
- Center Based Care and Family Child Care Homes are open up to twelve (12) hours a day, five (5) days a week during harvest time. (Usually from late spring through mid/late fall depending on crops) Currently offered Butte, Yuba Sutter, Tahema, Glenn, Lake, Colusa, and Yolo
